When
it comes to transportation, you want quality, service, reliability
and above all experience regarding about how you get from point “A” to
point “B”. Regardless if you own a Kenworth tractor-trailer,
or a four-door sedan Patsy’s is New England’s Transportation
authority.
Patsy’s
has been a fixture in New England for over 85 years, providing
the region with commercial and consumer transportation. Our
roots date back to 1917 when Pasquale Alosa, Sr., “Patsy”,
came to this country from Italy, to make a better life for himself
and his family. He began his auto repair shop on South Main Street
in Concord, New Hampshire. The only English words he knew at that
time were “Patsy’s fix!” and that’s how he
would answer his phone.
The
business eventually grew, and his son Joseph R. Alosa, Sr. took
over in the mid 1950’s turning wrenches along side his dad.
Patsy took ill and passed away in 1960, leaving his son Joe to
run the business.
In 1961 Joe was approached by General Motors to become one of the
area’s
first dealers. Now, Joe, not knowing a whole lot about becoming
a dealer, at first said no thank you. But the gentleman from GM
was persistent
and asked if he could leave the contract with him to “look
it over”, Joe said sure I’ll take a look at it.
And
the rest they say is history >>>
